About Eden-Rose Coppice Trust

Eden-Rose Coppice Trust's mission is to enhance the lives of vulnerable people while regenerating neglected, significantly and often illegally misused urban woodlands. We provide therapeutic support and fun educational, supported volunteering opportunities for people with cancer & their families and further disadvantaged groups within an effective outdoor restorative-specific environment. Whilst participating in our well-being programmes, our beneficiaries play a vital part in helping us restore urban environmental disasters for the benefit of our planet, native wildlife, themselves, and wider society. Participants gain essential skills, vastly improved confidence, feelings of self-worth, and enthusiasm whilst ecosystems are restored, air quality is improved, and climate change is mitigated. Results show that our nature-based support contributes positively to participants' mental and physical health and the Suffolk and UK Climate Emergency Plan through community-based reforestation, afforestation, and green space restoration.
