About EdgeHawk

EdgeHawk redefines network security by turning existing routers into an active, self-defending layer. Securing connectivity against AI-driven threats Legacy hardware is easily overwhelmed by modern AI botnets, carpet bombing, and terabit pulse attacks. EdgeHawk’s 100% software-based; cloud-native architecture deploys directly to peering, aggregation and access routers. By utilizing patented unsupervised machine learning for behavioral detection, our platform detects and stops malicious traffic directly at the edge, eliminating the need for expensive traffic backhauling and costly hardware. Key Capabilities: 360-Degree Defense: Comprehensive Inbound, Outbound, and East-West protection. Massive TCO Reduction: Saves up to 80% in CapEx and OpEx by leveraging existing routers. MSSP Monetization: Turns security into revenue by enabling scalable Protection-as-a-Service. Ultra-Fast Mitigation (<30s): Instant, on-box line-rate mitigation of zero-day and volumetric attacks. Powering the Cisco Secure DDoS Edge Protection: As the OEM technology engine behind Cisco's flagship edge security offering, we transform standard routing infrastructure into an integrated, self-defending security platform. Running natively on Cisco IOS-XR routers, our solution enables a seamless "Router + Security" bundle directly through the Cisco ecosystem. While we proudly power Cisco’s edge security, our vendor-agnostic architecture is designed to support and protect diverse, multi-vendor networking environments. This allows Service Providers to bypass fragmented legacy hardware and deploy a unified, ultra-fast defense layer right at the network edge. Join us as we help Service Providers, Data Centers, and Enterprises win the edge, lower costs, and build a truly self-defending network https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/security/secure-ddos-protection/secure-edge-protection-ds.html
