About Edisto Habitat for Humanity

For over 30 years, we have had the support of our donors, volunteers, faith-based organizations, local business owners, educational institutes, in-kind gifts, sponsors, and community partners, who allow us to continue our work. Edisto Habitat for Humanity partners with people in our community to help them build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. With our support, Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability, and independence they need to create a better life for themselves and their families. Homeownership is the foundation of a bright future. A safe, decent home allows a family to invest in education, live in healthier environments, have financial stability, and much more.
