About Educate Together

Educate Together is the leading patron of equality-based schools in Ireland and a pioneer in inclusive and democratic education. Our network of 97 primary and 21 secondary schools serves over 40,500 students, offering a modern, dynamic approach that redefines standards in inclusive, learner-centred education. As a forward-thinking charity, Educate Together provides a much-needed choice of equality-based primary and secondary schools for thousands of families across Ireland. Our mission is to transform the learning environment for all pupils, preparing them for life in the twenty-first century. Educate Together is an independent school patron that works with many supporters and partners. Our schools are state-funded, child-centred and democratically run. These schools guarantee “equality of access and esteem to students irrespective of their social, cultural or religious background.”
