About EduShield

EduShield is a safeguarding and major incident support service for education. We partner with schools, multi-academy trusts, and leaders to strengthen safeguarding, enhance compliance, and build confidence in responding to the most challenging situations. Founded by Louis Donald, former Executive Education Director, EduShield was created by safeguarding leads, for safeguarding leads. We understand the unique pressures of leadership in education and the responsibility to act when safeguarding or crisis response is tested. Our focus goes beyond policy. We deliver practical CPD, training, and consultancy that enables leaders to anticipate risk, prepare effectively, and respond with clarity when incidents occur. Whether supporting a Designated Safeguarding Lead, equipping a trust board with oversight tools, or preparing executives to lead through critical incidents, EduShield bridges the gap between safeguarding practice and strategic crisis leadership. We help leaders to: 🔹 Strengthen safeguarding culture, strategy, and compliance 🔹 Prepare for major and critical incidents with tested frameworks 🔹 Lead confidently under pressure with decision-making models 🔹 Deliver effective governance, reporting, and assurance 🔹 Protect pupils, staff, and communities with resilience and foresight What sets EduShield apart is our specialism in major and critical incident preparedness. We combine leadership methodology, real-world experience, and sector knowledge so leaders are not only compliant but ready for the unthinkable. From safeguarding CPD to scenario-based exercises, we ensure that when leaders are tested, they have the skills, confidence, and resilience to protect what matters most. With a growing global footprint, EduShield supports safeguarding leads, executives, and boards to meet today’s challenges and tomorrow’s unknowns. Our mission is simple: to help leaders Prepare and Protect. 🌐 Learn more at EduShield.org.uk
