About EDvance College
EDvance College is a non-profit, WSCUC-accredited institution founded in fall 2021, dedicated to strengthening the Early Childhood Education (ECE) workforce. Our innovative earn-and-learn model offers a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Studies, with comprehensive support tailored specifically to the needs of the current ECE workforce. Now in our fourth year (2025-2026 Academic Year), we proudly serve over 300 educators through our English and Spanish Bachelor’s degree pathways. EDvance focuses on strong partnerships with employer organizations and county offices of education across the Bay Area, including San Francisco, Alameda, and San Mateo counties. Our mission is to remove barriers to degree attainment by providing accessible, flexible pathways that empower educators to advance their careers and make a lasting impact on their communities. By integrating education with workforce development, we help students gain the skills they need while continuing to work, ensuring affordability and success through comprehensive student support services. At EDvance, we are redefining higher education to meet the needs of today’s diverse workforce, creating a more equitable future for early childhood education.
