EGL, the Institute of Culture and Languages - originally founded in 2014 as English Global Language - was established with the initial goal of preparing students for fluency in both general and aviation English. As we expanded, we began offering other languages such as Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Mandarin, along with specialized niches like Legal and Business English. By adopting the title of "Institute," we introduced classes and courses in writing, literature, academic tutoring, and preparation for the Enem and general college entrance exams. Finally, recognizing that language is an essential part of a people's cultural heritage, we added "Culture" to our name. This allows us to go further, hosting lectures, workshops, debates, and short courses on educational topics that enrich the culture of our community members. Today, we are one of the largest schools in the region, featuring a faculty with over 15 years of experience. Our methodology has won over students of all ages, from children to working professionals. Our students have achieved significant milestones, including passing international certification exams, securing job opportunities through English-language interviews, traveling and moving abroad using local languages, or simply fulfilling the personal satisfaction of reaching long-awaited proficiency in a foreign tongue. We strive to offer the best to our students, whether through our facilities or our pedagogical approaches. However, our true differentiator lies in how we treat every individual - whether they are students, parents, guardians, or professionals - with the highest level of respect. We aim to meet their educational needs in the most personalized way possible. Our mission is to develop individuals capable of making a positive impact on their own realities and society, while always respecting their unique personalities and needs.
