Deutsch: Das Europäische Halal Zertifizierungsinstitut (EHZ) als eine Non-Profit-Organisation wird vom Islamrat für die Bundesrepublik Deutschland und vom Bündnis der islamischen Gemeinden in Norddeutschland e.V. getragen. Das EHZ berät die Lebensmittel, Medizin- und Kosmetikindustrie, prüft deren Produkte und Produktionssysteme und zertifiziert sie, wenn diese die islamischen Halal-Richtlinien, die vom Gelehrtenrat des EHZ aufgestellt wurden, erfüllen. Ziel des Institutes ist es den Muslimen eine gesicherte und glaubwürdige Zertifizierung von Halal-Produkten nach islamischen Richtlinien anzubieten. EHZ versucht den Muslimen das Einkaufen von kontrollierten Halal-Produkten (nicht nur Fleischprodukte) aus jedem Supermarkt in großer Anzahl und Vielfalt zu ermöglichen und einfacher zu gestalten. English: The European Institute of Halal Certification (EHZ) as noncommercial Organisation is supported by the Islamic Council for the Federal Republic of Germany and also by the Alliance of the Islamic Communities in Northern Germany (Registered Society). EHZ consults the food, medical and cosmetic industries, inspects their products and production methods and certifies them, if they met the Islamic halal guidelines - established by Council of Islamic Scholars of institute. The intention of EHZ is to create the purchasing of foodstuffs easier for Muslims.
