About EM Solutions Pty Ltd

EM Solutions (EMS) is internationally recognised for providing cutting edge products that help in the delivery of real-time telecommunications anywhere in the world. With technologically-superior design, manufacture, and support services, EMS specialise in on-the-move radio and satellite communications terminals for both military and commercial customers. For its unique innovation, EMS has won numerous awards, including the Australian Industrial Research Group 2012 Medal for Innovation, the Premier of Queensland's Export Award 2011, and the Australian Academy of Technological Scientists and Engineers Clunies-Ross Award 2011. The company partners with CSIRO, UQ, Defence Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO) and numerous global defence system integrators. Since 1998, the company has produced integrated RF modules used in low noise receivers and solid state high power transmitters for defence and commercial customers around the world. These sophisticated components form the core subsystems used primarily in microwave terrestrial and satellite links, or in other applications such as radar, radio-astronomy, and remote sensing. EM Solutions customer base includes many of the world’s largest systems integrators and telecommunications companies. The company offers system-level design checking and validation, and an RF performance guarantee. It is a Defence accredited supplier and is ISO-9001 certified. Its most sophisticated and world-leading systems, such as its Ka-band satellite on the move terminal, or Ku-band E1000 microwave radio link, are testament to the company’s expertise in developing complex systems that also integrate multi-frequency antenna feeds, digital signal processing, filtering and demodulation, and firmware and mechanical control subsystems.
