About Emeryville Sports Physical Therapy

Founded in 2003, Emeryville Sports Physical Therapy ("ESPT") is a therapist-owned and operated physical therapy practice. ESPT combines its knowledge of sport, science and movement to deliver the industry's highest quality and most innovative physical therapy treatment. We incorporate primitive movement patterns that are innate in the human developmental process and use them to correct movement faults. Our team analyzes movement as it is intended to be - by targeting the source of the problem, not just curing the site. ESPT physical therapists practice the latest evidence-based treatment techniques to ensure the best outcomes are achieved. All team members attend the latest continuing education courses and maintain the highest level of education and experience. At the same time, we strive to provide a fun and friendly environment where patients and clinicians can interact, communicate, and support each other.
