The Emotion Research Institute (formerly the Sharon Faye Foundation) was formed in 2015. Founded by Sharon Faye and colleagues, the Institute is driven by a deep commitment to exploring the intricate and often misunderstood landscape of human emotion. What our brand means? With over ten years of research and education, we have evolved to the next level where our research will be active in two areas: i) the Science of Emotion, and ii) Applied Research on Emotion. What does this mean? Connecting to emotion is essential to our health and wellbeing. We believe there is a different way to feel and respond to emotion. Here at the Institute, we are devoted to continuing our research, establishing new ways to measure emotion and applying our findings to improve our experience of everyday life.
