About End Neglected Tropical Diseases Initiative

End Neglected Tropical Diseases ( End NTDs Initiative) Initiative is dedicated to transforming the health and dignity of underserved and hard-to-reach communities affected by preventable NTDs in Nigeria. We are team of NTDs professionals determined to empower communities with the knowledge, tools, and systems needed to eliminate these diseases sustainably. Our work focuses on local driven solutions to eliminate NTDs as a public problem by 2030: ✨ Delivering community-friendly awareness campaigns in local languages ✨ Promoting practical water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) solutions using our in-house product, WaterSafe. ✨ Strengthening community-led disease prevention systems ✨ Increasing access to deworming and NTD treatment interventions ✨ Improving digital health data reporting and surveillance ✨ Conducting research to inform evidence-based interventions We are currently advancing action against priority NTDs including: • Female Genital Schistosomiasis • Soil Transmitted Helminths • Lymphatic Filariasis • River Blindness (Onchocerciasis) • Trachoma • Leprosy • Rabies Our mission is simple yet powerful: restore dignity, reduce suffering, and build healthier futures for vulnerable populations.
