What does 'Performance' mean?... It describes the homes ability to operate at substantially lower costs than a home built with traditional methods or 'to code'. Over the life of a home, the FIRST COST, or 'purchase price', will account for only a third of what the OPERATING, or 'life cylce' costs will be. Our job is to help you wade through the options, discuss the methods used, and incorporate these practices in helping you build a home that far exceeds what is required - Buidling Code (or as I like to say, 'the poorest quality home the government will allow').
