About Energro Greenhouses

Energro is developing the cleanest gas-fired power generation project in the province, and potentially the world. By harnessing natural gas, we are feeding the Alberta power grid and powering our on-site greenhouse. Our approach includes capturing and reusing heat from the engines to warm the greenhouse and neighboring properties. Additionally, we are scrubbing the exhaust to recycle CO2 for greenhouse use, embodying a holistic approach to sustainability.
