About Energy LED (Pty) Ltd

Energy LED assists companies to financially benefit by reducing their lighting energy costs, thereby saving on ever increasing electricity costs. We are a proud Level 2 QSE (B-BBEE) Company empowered by the SAB Thrive Fund since 2018. As a proud Philips Professional Lighting Partner, we provide an advanced full spectrum LED lighting solution for companies who are utilising outdated, inefficient and expensive lighting technology, as well as green fields lighting supply. Through the implementation of Philips Professional LED technology, customers typically save 70% of their current lighting energy charges whilst significantly improving light levels, ensuring OHS compliance, increasing production and minimising maintenance costs. Typical Paybacks 9-18 months and ROI’s >500. Our professional no obligation service commences with a site survey to identify inefficient lighting and to quantify current lighting energy usage and the appropriate Philips LED replacement products. A comprehensive feasibility report and proposal is then compiled from this information, which includes key financial metrics such as return on investment and internal rate of return calculations. We have assisted blue chip industrial and manufacturing companies to convert over 3,100,000 square metres of inefficient industrial lighting to energy efficient LED lighting, saving customers R448 million in electricity and maintenance costs whilst significantly reducing the amount of CO² released into the environment. Our LED projects have taken 6,156 KW off the grid with a 298,252,000 KWH reduction, resulting in CO2 savings of 295,270 tons, which is equivalent to planting 4.8m tree seedlings.
