About Environmental Protection Trainings and Development Organization (EPTDO)

Environmental Protection, Trainings and Development Organization (EPTDO) is a non-governmental, non-political, and non-profit and a leading NGO committed to fostering sustainable development and environmental integrity across Afghanistan. With a presence in all 34 provinces, we focus on climate change adaptation and mitigation, environmental safety, livelihood and agricultural development, as well as promoting gender equality and inclusion. Our work aims to conserve biodiversity, achieve net-zero carbon emissions by combating fossil fuels, and provide education on climate change to create resilient communities and ecosystems. This organization is an active member of WASH Cluster, FSAC cluster and has been an accredited NGO by UNFCCC, UNCCD, and UNEP in addition it is partnered with several international organizations including UNDP, DACAAR and etc. Consequently, this organization has been officially representing climate change initiatives in the UNFCCC COPs and UNCCD COP conferences.
