About Environmental Studies Association of Canada (ESAC)

The Environmental Studies Association of Canada (ESAC) is Canada’s leading scholarly network of environmental researchers and educators. We are a non-profit, federally incorporated, bilingual organization open to members from across Canada and elsewhere. Members are welcome from educational institutions, government agencies, and private sector and non-profit organizations. ESAC is a scholarly association with membership in the Canadian Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences (CFHSS). Our Annual Conference and Annual General Meeting are held each year in conjunction with the CFHSS Congress, the largest annual academic conference in Canada.
