About Equipmii

Equipmii is building the next generation of design intelligence - enabling engineering teams to understand how real people will interact with physical products before they are built. Our platform, Inclusive Risk Intelligence™, helps teams identify and resolve functional usability risks at the design stage - before CAD models are finalised and before costly prototyping, tooling, or validation begins. Today, usability and human factors testing is manual, time-intensive, and expensive, and typically happens late in development. This limits iteration, results in small sample sizes, and increases the risk of costly redesign - with late-stage changes up to 10–100x more expensive than those made during early design. At the same time, while testing often includes representative users, it rarely captures intersectional needs - particularly disability. Designers lack early insight into how different functional impairments interact with a product, meaning up to 25% of consumers are overlooked in design decisions. Equipmii changes this. By mapping product interactions against high-impact functional impairments, Equipmii enables engineers to predict where users are most likely to experience friction, error, or exclusion directly from their design inputs - reducing reliance on small-sample, late-stage testing.
