About Equiptec

People are valuable. The Equiptec team strive to ensure not only your safety at height but comfort, confidence and productivity. Established in 1994 and based in Napier, New Zealand, Equiptec is a privately-owned company, with extensive experience earned ‘at the coal face’ of many industries including heavy transport, construction, aviation, mining etc. The Equiptec brand has been widely recognised as the leading manufacturer of mobile work platforms and scaffold systems throughout Australasia. Following a challenge from the mining industry demanding a 'Multi use' access platform that could be utilised across many different machines as possible, Equiptec responded with the development of the patented, award winning ‘VRS’ system that has not only found success in the mining industry worldwide but across many areas work platforms are required. Solid values, brilliant team, continual product improvement and excellent client service, is the culture at Equiptec! EQUIPTEC - OWN THE HIGH GROUND
