About Ergo Law

Ergo Law is an Edinburgh-based firm specialising in employment law. We offer legal advice and HR support to both employers and employees. We have experience of dealing with a broad range of industries and with businesses both large and small. We are also experienced in advising employee clients at all levels of their careers. We advise on issues which arise in the workplace on a daily basis as well as on more complex or unusual situations. Our aim is to offer the highest quality specialist legal advice with compassion and spirit. We spend time getting to know our client’s story and our advice extends beyond the technical application of the law. We are listeners, translators, counsellors and lawyers. We are skilled in stepping into our client’s shoes and helping to untangle the trickiest of situations. Our approach is pragmatic and straightforward and our aim is to achieve the best possible outcome for you, whether that is a smooth implementation of new contracts and policies for an established business, raising a grievance on behalf of an aggrieved worker, appealing a dismissal or fighting an Employment Tribunal claim on your behalf.
