About Estonian Association of Architectural and Consulting Engineering Companies

The Estonian Association of Construction Consulting Companies (EKEL) is an association of companies providing construction consulting services to protect the common interests of its members and to develop the design sector. The association has more than 60 member companies, both architectural and engineering firms all over Estonia, with nearly 700 employees. The purpose of EKEL's activities is to develop consulting activities in the field of construction and to represent the interests of its members. To achieve its goals EKEL: - represents the interests of its members in the development of Estonian construction policy, participates in the submission of proposals for improvement of legislation; - establishes and develops relations with foreign organizations and individuals, participates in the work of international organizations, represents its members in Estonian, foreign and international organizations; - promotes communication and exchange of information between members; - promotes the use of open and fair competition principles; - collects and analyzes information in the field of construction consulting business; - publish issue collections and publications; - organizes events, presentations, information days and seminars. EKEL is a member of the International Federation of Engineering Consultants (FIDIC), The European Federation of Engineering Consultancy Associations (EFCA), the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Estonian Employers' Confederation.
