Ethikon Institute is a non-profit organization committed to advancing the ethical use and development of artificial intelligence (AI). Our mission is achieved through: - Public Policy Engagement: Actively participating in the formation of AI legislation and public discourse. - Research Initiatives: Conducting impactful research to enhance understanding of AI ethics. - Community Awareness: Raising awareness about the societal implications of AI technologies. We have developed the Citizen Search Engine, a pioneering platform that serves as an AI library, collecting trustworthy online sources and rare books from libraries across Greece, many of which are not available online. This resource allows users, especially secondary education students, to ask questions and receive accurate, unbiased, and legally compliant AI-generated answers. By collaborating with institutions and libraries, we gain access to valuable data to train our models (LLMs), creating an essential educational tool that empowers research and learning.
