About Eton Excelsior Rowing Club

We are a welcoming, medium-size rowing club located on a beautiful section of the river Thames. Eton Excelsior Rowing Club (EERC) is the local rowing club for Windsor and the surrounding area and one of the oldest rowing clubs around, established in 1826. We cater for complete beginners, juniors, recreational rowers, intermediates and those who aspire to race at the highest levels of rowing competition. Our original club house was in Eton, hence the name, but we are not related to our famous neighbour, Eton College! Get in touch or check out our Learn To Row page if you fancy having a go. Rowing is a great team sport and a sociable way to be fit and active.
