About Expedition Audacity Research Foundation

The Expedition Audacity Research Foundation is a global alliance of scientists, sailors, storytellers, and advocates working where ocean health, climate justice, and cultural survival intersect. From the Arctic to Zanzibar, we operate in places where oversight is thin and the consequences of environmental harm are felt first. Our work sits at the intersection of science and story — gathering hard evidence in the field and translating it into narratives people can understand, trust, and act on. We don’t document problems for their own sake. We focus on outcomes. What We Do Field Science Deploying rapid genetic technologies, ROVs, and expedition-based research in vulnerable and under-studied ecosystems. Clear Storytelling Turning complex science into films, articles, and real-time reporting that connects global audiences to lived realities — without exaggeration or hype. Practical Impact Working alongside Indigenous communities, policymakers, researchers, and citizen scientists to ensure discoveries lead to protection and accountability. Our Initiatives R/V Audacity — A 30-metre sailing research vessel supporting global expeditions on biodiversity and climate impacts. Audax Ventus — A sailing and storytelling initiative centred on Indigenous knowledge and climate leadership. Red Quill Society — Our investigative arm, exposing environmental crime where transparency is rare. Why We Exist Climate disruption, biodiversity loss, and cultural erosion do not respect borders. Effective responses can’t either. Join the Work Expedition Audacity is not a brand. It’s a commitment. Every donation, partnership, and collaboration supports frontline research and turns evidence into action. expeditionaudacity.org
