About Explore Cape Verde

Established in 2015 by Alison and Jonathan Jones, Explore Cape Verde is a family-run eco-tourism business on Sal Island. Committed to sustainability and wildlife conservation, our licensed company, holding a protected species license, offers high-quality, eco-conscious excursions. Our team comprises experienced marine biologists and conservationists, ensuring respectful encounters with wildlife. As the leading example of sustainable eco-tourism on Sal, we donate a percentage of every excursion to Project Biodiversity, contributing over €15,000 to protect endangered loggerhead turtles and preserve Sal's wildlife. Join us to experience Sal's natural beauty, history, and culture with a passionate and knowledgeable team.
