To provide the safest and most effective treatments tailored to patients' individual needs. - Modern eye surgeons have different areas of expertise meaning it can be difficult to know if you are being treated by someone with the relevant skills and experience. We work together to ensure you are seeing the right person at the right time. Each of our consultants is "fellowship trained" meaning they are experts in their chosen fields and also work in NHS university hospitals. 2. Lead research into new sight-saving treatments - Our consultants are involved in research activities aiming to develop new methods of detecting eye disease and introducing new sight-saving treatments. 3. Provide education to optometrists and ophthalmologists at home and overseas.
