About Family Affaires
An apartment or house full of memories that needs to be cleared out quickly? At Family Affaires, we help families appraise and sell their antique furniture. Thanks to our expertise, we give your belongings a second life, working hand in hand with auctioneers, notaries, and premium real estate agents. Valuation, Sale, Donation, Clearance — Family Affaires takes care of everything for you. The 3-Step Process 1 – ESTIMATION Based on photos or an on-site visit, Family Affaires works with you to list the items you wish to part with. This may include the contents of an entire apartment, a family home, a professional warehouse, or simply a collection of objects. 2 – SALE, DONATION, CLEARANCE Once this step is complete, the Family Affaires team will identify the best sales channels to ensure the optimal valuation of your furniture. Items that remain unsold may be donated, and the rest will be cleared from the property. 3 – RETURN OF THE EMPTY PROPERTY After our intervention, we consolidate all the sale results. The proceeds can either cover the clearance costs or be paid to you as a profit if the sales amount is high enough. In every case, you will have full transparency on all operations carried out. And just like that — you’re finally free from the burden of clearing out a property! It’s now ready for new use, and you can make the most of your time with peace of mind.
