About Fast Fashion Therapy

A creative workshop programme encouraging participants to repair, alter and up-cycle their old or tired clothing, rather than buy new. Our mission is to create a more sustainable fashion industry through sharing sewing skills, changing habits and creating communities of repair. We deliver community and private workshops in community centres, libraries, workplaces, universities and more across the U.K. and online. The original idea for the name came from creating a workshop space that acted as a practical therapy for our collective addiction to fast fashion. The workshop also offers a therapeutic space for slowing down and taking a more mindful approach to fashion.
