About FC Kickers Pufendorfer Berlin

We are an amateur football team that was founded in 2013 by a group people that were playing together regularly. We first started playing games together in 2008 that were organised via CouchSurfing.com at the pitch at Pufendorfstraße, which is where our name comes from. Beside playing football for fun, social events are an equally important part of the team and we have since grown to become a rich and diverse community of over 30 regular players. As well as playing amongst each other for fun, we have two 7-a-side teams and one 11-a-side team entered into the Bunte Liga Berlin (www.bunte-liga-berlin.de), which is an amateur league which is a fair and social alternative to the Berlin league system. We often play friendly matches against various other teams in Berlin and also participate in and organise various tournaments, both in Berlin and in other cities. Our core values are inclusion, integration and fair play and we often organise events that are open to newcomers to the city. The group which we originally founded in 2008 on CouchSurfing has since migrated to Facebook, and games are still regularly organised there: www.facebook.com/groups/futbol.berlin. These games are often where we recruit new players. Visit our website to keep up-to-date with our matches and events! www.fckp.net
