The main aims of the Portuguese Table Tennis Federation (FPTM) are to promote, regulate and manage, at national level the teaching and the practice of Table Tennis. In furtherance of its purposes, it falls to the FPTM in particular to: Represent Portuguese table tennis both at national and international level; Ensure the participation of the National Teams in competitions; Organise the national championships and all other relevant competitions for table tennis development; Host international competitions; Stand for the fundamentals of ethics in sport; Communicate and ensure the respect for Table Tennis rules and regulations and its application; Protect it´s member interests.
