About Female Gaming Finland

Female Gaming Finland, FGF is a video game community directed towards women and gender minorities which represents and improves their status in the gaming world. Our mission is to disclose and break out structural obstacles what women and gender minorities encounter. Most of the finnish participants who are part of the video game communities and events are men. This is why it can be harder for women and gender minorities to take a part in the gaming events and activities. In Finland there hasn’t been similar activity or support before for women and gender minorities. Our mission is to make gaming related activities available for everyone.
