Our computer vision solution ensures that the farmer isalerted to issues in his production area before they get out of hand, enabling him to spend time fixing problems instead of wasting time finding them. As early detection is key when dealing with an infectious disease or pest infestation, Fermata scans the crop 24/7, analyzing each plant to ensure they are healthy and pathogen-free. Use of Fermata technology reduces crop losses and significantly decreases the need for pesticide, chemical, and beneficial insect usage – saving the grower substantially on crop inputs, and increasing harvests.
