About Us Founded in 1897, the J.F. Hartz Company began serving the medical profession by providing surgical instruments as well as various medical supplies and equipment. Technology brought rapid and significant advancements and the J.F. Hartz Company capitalized on these changes progressing from a local pharmaceutical manufacturer into a major healthcare company with national recognition. Over the years, the company achieved exponential growth by continuing to adapt and meet the changing needs of patients and healthcare professionals. 2004 saw the creation of a new privately held, fully integrated holding company, Ferndale Pharma Group Inc., which includes a number of specialty healthcare firms including Ferndale Healthcare™, Inc. Today, Ferndale Healthcare™ targets several key specialty markets encompassing disease states ranging from benign anorectal disorders to skin conditions.
