About FESI - European Federation of Associations of Insulation Contractors

The European Federation of Associations of Insulation Contractors (FESI) is the central information, networking, and representative platform for companies active in the insulation industry across Europe. FESI unites 18 national associations, representing around 1,000 contractor companies and more than 40,000 professionals, and the network is growing. Our members specialise in thermal, acoustic, and fire protection insulation for air ducts, pipes, vessels, tanks, buildings, ships, and industrial equipment. Their work supports both the HVAC and industrial insulation sectors — including power generation, petrochemical, chemical, and other production facilities. Our Mission FESI works to strengthen and professionalise the insulation industry in Europe by: - Sharing knowledge and best practices on products, tools, training, and applications - Promoting innovation in technical and working standards - Supporting training, education, and qualification exchange across Europe - Facilitating communication and cooperation between national associations - Organising the European Insulation Championship to showcase craftsmanship and attract new talent - Advocating for better insulation to reduce energy waste and CO₂ emissions Together, we help Europe build a more sustainable, efficient, and safe future through better insulation.
