About Fichtner Consulting Engineers Ltd

Fichtner is one of the world's leading independent engineering consultancy firms. Founded in 1922, the group has over 2,000 staff, delivering technical advisory and project management services in more than 100 countries. Fichtner Consulting Engineers Ltd in the United Kingdom are entirely independent; owned by the Fichtner family and company employees. By choice we are a pure engineering consultancy, exclusively focused on providing impartial services in the best interests of our clients and their projects, without influence by the equipment supply or contracting industries. Fichtner has been operating in the UK since 1991, with a strong track record built on the core principles of quality, engineering excellence, integrity and community. Fichtner has established itself as one of the UK's leading engineering consultancy and project management firms in the industrial, renewable energy, power and waste management sectors and enjoys a quality client base of developers, finance teams, local and governmental authorities. We have an in-depth appreciation of the technologies commercially available, how they really operate, their layout and land-use requirements, how much they cost to build and operate and effective ways to procure, finance and construct. Our skills are grounded in engineering principles, actual operational practice and a wide ranging experience of the challenges and opportunities which exist in the UK market.
