About Filipino Nurses Network New Zealand

FNNNZ is not an association or a paid membership-based organisation. It is a network—a collaborative, non-hierarchical, and open structure that enables Filipino nurses to connect, contribute, and lead together. There are no officers or executives. Instead, the network is facilitated by regional convenors and led nationally by two co-convenors. We are working closely with the Embassy of the Philippines in New Zealand, to enable the Ambassador to convene the network as a national co-convenor. FNNNZ aims to unify the voice of Filipino nurses in Aotearoa on matters of policy, practice, and advocacy Promote inclusive participation in consultations, submissions, and policy forums Share research, education, and conference opportunities for capacity-building Offer support and connection across regions, scopes of practice, and career stages Engage with stakeholders such as the Nursing Council of New Zealand, Ministry of Health, educational institutions, and health employers Build bridges between Filipino nurses overseas and in NZ, supporting global mobility and connection
