About Film Biz Recycling

Film Biz Recycling (FBR) prevents pollution, creates jobs and aids our community by diverting set materials to local charities and operating a creative reuse center and prop shop in Savannah, Georgia. Film Biz Recycling has diverted over 340 tons of props, set dressing and wardrobe from landfills by providing the only non-profit prop house, reuse and donation center. The usual mode of disposal in the past was to throw it all in a dumpster. Film Biz Recycling has prevented pollution by keeping these items out of a landfill. Film Biz Recycling re-distributes year-round, the majority of captured items to local charities, non-profits and arts programs. Film Biz Recycling has been written about in The New York Times, NPR, The White House blog among many, many others esteemed media outlets. We are open by appointment only.
