About First United Lutheran Church

First United Lutheran Church has been a part of the Dallas community since 1923. As members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, we believe that we are freed in Christ to serve and love our neighbor. Our church holds traditional and worship services, every Sunday at 10:30 am, and we offer a variety of programs. We grant scholarships to local music scholars, from SMU, UNT and UTA, who perform during worship. We have a Bible study Sunday School, the Crafty Quilters make quilts which are donated to those in need, and we are always looking for new ways to serve the community. For nearly 100 years, First United Lutheran Church has been working to make a positive impact, both in Dallas and through missions abroad. We have a variety of volunteer opportunities available.
