About Flex Rental Solutions

Chris Stein, Flex Rental Solutions CEO, founded Flex in 2009 after more than 20 years cutting his teeth in professional AV for the Live Events industry. After years of planning, pulling, packing, and setting up gear for large scale events, he became frustrated with the lack of good enterprise resource planning software designed for the unique needs of the live events industry. Things were getting lost in the shuffle, warehouse crew had no way to communicate with accounting, the warehouse was a mess. Spreadsheets and legacy solutions were not cutting it anymore. Only problem was, such a system didn’t exist...yet. So we got to work. We set out to build the most highly customizable cloud-based inventory management and rental software in the market -- allowing Live Events pros to focus on what they do best: delivering spectacular experiences. More than 10 years later, we’re proud to say we achieved what we set out to do. We’ve become the #1 most recommended rental software by Pro AV and Live Event professionals from all over the world. We offer a 60 Day Free Trial, if you want to see why. Why Flex? - Prevent inventory shortages. Know what you have and where it is. - Plan and organize every part of a project with ease. Simplify complex logistics and resource requirements. - Streamline and automate warehouse procedures. Track everything going in and out of your warehouse. - Don’t leave money on the table. Identify opportunities and gaps with powerful financial functionality and QB integration. - The equipment dashboard shows where gear is at the present time, and availability calculations are integrated with backorders and sub-rentals. - Flex offers search functionality and scheduling of crew members for the overall crew call, crew email communications, and the ability to easily view each crew member’s full schedule. Statuses, workflows, and jobs are all configurable to support your own processes and terminology.
