About Flutterbye

At Flutterbye, we believe volunteers are at the heart of strong, connected communities. Yet many organisations struggle to turn good intentions into volunteer programs that truly work. With over 20 years’ experience in volunteer engagement and seven years running a dedicated consultancy, we help organisations navigate practical challenges and get better results from their volunteer programs. We work alongside you to understand what’s not working, what’s possible, and where volunteers can have the greatest impact. From there, we design practical, engaging volunteer programs that work in the real world by improving systems, processes, and experiences for both volunteers and employees, while delivering meaningful outcomes. Our approach is grounded in proven standards and frameworks, ensuring your volunteer strategy is effective, sustainable, and aligned with your organisation’s goals. If you want to attract the right volunteers, support them well, and keep them engaged over time, we’re here to help you build a volunteer program that truly works. Let’s start a conversation.
