FMC Finance Zambia Limited is a locally registered non-bank financial institution that was incorporated in October 2015 and is registered with Bank of Zambia. It started operations on 1 January 2016 with one branch in Lusaka and has since grown to 2 branches in Lusaka and Kitwe (Copper belt) with more than 10 agencies in remote areas where there is no brick and mortar presence. FMC Finance’s target market includes, civil servants, uniformed forces, companies, as well as Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. FMC Finance‘s strategy is to lend to Zambian SME businesses and individuals that, for whatever reason, find it difficult to raise revolving credit facility finance through more traditional means.
