About Focus on Young People in Bassetlaw

Based in Worksop, our charity supports young people in Bassetlaw aged between 8-25 yrs. old. We raise funds, by holding several events throughout the year. The charity has a Grant Giving Trust, small grants can be awarded to Individuals and Groups within the Bassetlaw area. Our work supports young people, to gain confidence, learn new transferrable skills and reach goals that will help them achieve their full potential. To do this the Charity can provide funding and information to individuals and young people’s organisations, including some projects within schools. The Funding Programme can assist young people aged 8 - 25 with projects, ideas and experiences that will help develop them personally, increasing skills that help prepare them for life and future employment.
