About FogoAzul New York City

We are NYC's homegrown all women/non-binary/gender non-conforming drumline!  Appearing at over 150 events per year, Fogo Azul NYC is a community group open to folks who believe music and rhythm is in every human—if you give them the means, very loudly!  We provide fast paced, highly energetic choreographed performances inside, outside, hanging out in one spot or marching around. We also go long in NYC parades! Fogo Azul NYC is an age and ethnically diverse community of women who span the drummer spectrum from novice to professional.
