Start Attractor is a non‑profit foundation of participation that combines academic excellence, industrial experience and territorial institutions to accelerate innovation with tangible impact. Start Attractor is an international innovation catalyst based in Pisa that connects companies, startups and research groups to co-design solutions in DeepTech, AI, biotech, paper & packaging, fintech and beyond. Start Attractor is promoted by the University of Pisa together with Sofidel, Todisco Group and Banco Fiorentino, and supported by key organizations in the Tuscany innovation ecosystem. Start Attractor makes it easier for innovation‑driven companies to work with research, startups and talent through structured programs, clear governance and measurable impact. Beyond individual projects, Start Attractor nurtures an ecosystem of founders, intrapreneurs, mentors and investors through events, meetups and shared learning experiences. Programs for startups at every stage: from idea validation to international scale-up, our staged programs help teams de-risk technology, validate markets and build investable companies – with access to mentors, labs, testbeds and industrial partners. Start Attractor designs and delivers training programs in collaboration with the University of Pisa and industry partners, focusing on the skills needed to navigate AI, sustainability and innovation‑driven business models.
