About Fontan Architecture

Fontan Architecture is a New York City–based architecture firm specializing in high-end residential design, including new homes and renovations of apartments, lofts, and townhouses. Led by architect Jorge Fontan, the firm focuses on thoughtful, well-executed renovations tailored to each client and the unique conditions of their space. Our work is grounded in a careful balance of design, technical rigor, and construction expertise. We approach each project holistically, considering layout, proportion, light, materials, and detailing as part of a unified architectural vision. Every decision is made in response to how the space will be used, with equal attention given to the lived experience and the systems that support it. We believe architecture should enhance daily life, creating environments that feel cohesive, refined, and enduring. Our process emphasizes precision, coordination, and close involvement throughout construction to ensure the design is realized at the highest level. At Fontan Architecture, we are committed to creating spaces that are not only functional and well-crafted, but also elevate the experience of its occupants.
