About Food and Beverage Canada - Aliments et boissons Canada

Food and Beverage Canada (FBC-ABC) is the leading national organization representing Canada’s domestic food and beverage manufacturing industry. Based in Ottawa, Food and Beverage Canada brings together food and beverage manufacturers from across the country – from emerging companies to some of Canada’s largest manufacturers – behind one credible, solutions-focused federal voice. Our work is driven directly by our member companies and strengthened through formal partnerships with the provincial and regional associations representing Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic Canada. This structure ensures that our advocacy in Ottawa reflects both the national priorities of manufacturers and the regional realities facing plants across the country. We represent the manufacturing base of the food system: the plants, the people, the productivity, and the investment environment that determine whether food and beverage products are made here in Canada at all. As Canada’s largest manufacturing sector and largest manufacturing employer, food and beverage manufacturing is central to our economy ensuring its continued success requires thoughtful policy, strong industry leadership, and coordinated engagement with government. This is where Food and Beverage Canada leads.
