About Foreign Communities of Alba Association

The Foreign Communities of Alba Association, known as the FCA Association, is a registered charity (SC052771) operating in West Lothian, Falkirk, and North Lanarkshire councils in Scotland. Founded in late 2021, it is dedicated to Sports, Recreation, Integration, and Removing Social Isolation in the communities it serves. The FCA Association was initiated by a group of individuals who recognized the need for sports and social activities, primarily among the Polish community in Falkirk, Bathgate, and Whitburn. What started as a modest football group has blossomed into a vibrant community of approximately 300 members. The organization conducts football training sessions, participates in the Soccer Sixes Sunday league, and offers diverse activities like hiking, DIY projects, chess, and women's football sections. Beyond sports and recreation, the FCA Association actively engages in charity and social events, fostering inclusivity and community engagement. The organization has created a welcoming environment, addressing social isolation by promoting friendships and breaking down cultural barriers. In the future, the FCA Association aims to establish a community house, expand its activities, and promote personal development through training and upskilling. Collaboration with other groups and charities is a core value, as they seek to create a positive impact within the community and beyond. In summary, the FCA Association is an inclusive charity committed to sports, recreation, integration, and social isolation elimination. What began as a small football group has evolved into a vibrant community, making a meaningful difference in the lives of its members and the wider community.
