A newly established studio founded in Birmingham, Format was created with the drive for a design-led, collaborative approach backed by years of experience, ensuring an achievable outcome without creative compromise. We offer bespoke architectural services, from early conceptual design, through to construction and completion in both the residential and commercial sectors. We see the art in building and our way of working produces strong design concepts along with fine detailing, to create places and spaces of a richness and quality. We believe design is not a linear path, we encourage exploration and flexibility in our approach to create something truly unique with our clients Each project is considered with an open and holistic design process. We start by establishing a clear narrative for every project, using it as the fundamental concept that underpins each scheme. We use this to form a clear design brief and explore ideas through a variety of sketches, visuals and models.
