About Foundation for Research in Health Systems

Foundation for Research in Health Systems (FRHS) is a 34 year old not-for-profit research organization established in 1989. The administrative Head Quarter of FRHS is located in Bengaluru, Karnataka and temporary field offices are setup for all ongoing projects at the project sites. Since its inception, FRHS has successfully carried out 130 projects across 18 states in India. FRHS mission is to develop and apply innovative approaches and models for improving management practices in health systems and programmes. FRHS focuses mainly on strengthening existing health systems through evaluation of ongoing programs and policies, to identify gaps. Our MISSION :  Learn through field research and best practices in healthcare systems  Improve skills and employability of health care providers through training and technology enabled solution  Leverage public and private health care systems to achieve equity, sustainability and quality in healthcare delivery
