About Foundations of Music

In Chicago Public Schools, having a full-time music teacher is the exception, not the rule. Foundations of Music offers innovative, high-quality music education programs for students in Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade. Whether through weekly general music instruction, project-based Songwriting and Music Production classes, or live performances, we work hard to make sure there will be...Music for Every Child. Our vision is a society where children of all means have access to music education and the opportunity to creatively express themselves through music; where all children are inspired to engage in their communities and realize their full potential.
